In the successful and award-winning ZDF political satire, Martina Hill has appeared alongside anchorman Oliver Welke as Tina Hausten, an expert on everything and everyone, for many years.
In addition, her long-lost cousin Mandy Hausten from the Left Party also adds her two cents worth on the program. The feisty bundle of energy with stone-washed jeans and an acid perm has, for the most part, “had it up to her neck” and likes to use the opportunity in front of the camera to remind Rico, her ex-boyfriend, about the maintenance payments for little Maik (“that’s with a-i”). “THAT’S IT!”.
The rest of the Hausten clan also always have something to say, such as narrow-minded cousin Antonia from Bavaria or Dörte, born Knülling Dingeldey, from Berlin who regularly vaccinates herself by licking the hand rails of Berlin’s suburban railway.

As such goes this Chinese adventure/road movie/picture montage/audio book
For many years, the queen of comedy Martina Hill has had a large fan base – including in China. However, she had experienced nothing of this herself before she was invited to Peking to take part in a Chinese comedy series.
Suddenly, due to a slight snag, she is faced with the greatest adventure of her life: Martina suffers from an extreme fear of flying and has so far had very little to do with China – apart from “number 71 sweet and sour, but with tofu please!”. Nevertheless, she sets off on her journey to the country of comedy both utterly fearless and completely clueless …
A trip to China of a different sort: hilarious and with many images and funny tales from Martina’s life.
